Luca de Meo has been Chairman of the Executive Committee of SEAT since November 1, 2015.

Born in Milan (Italy) in 1967, he received a degree in Business Administration from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

De Meo has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive sector. He began his career at Renault, prior to joining Toyota Europe, followed by his many roles at the Fiat Group, where he was Head of Business Units Lancia, Fiat and Alfa Romeo, CEO of Abarth, and Chief Marketing Officer of the Fiat Group.

In 2009, De Meo joined the Volkswagen Group as Marketing Director of the Volkswagen brand and of the Volkswagen Group prior to taking up the position of Board of Management member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG.

De Meo is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of CUPRA, a member of the Board of Directors of SEAT Metropolis:Lab Barcelona, and the Administrator of XMOBA, SEAT’s mobility services subsidiary. Along with that he is also the Chairman of the Volkswagen Group España Distribución Board of Directors as well as the highest representative of the Volkswagen Group in Spain.
