Ángel Alonso Arroba is Head of Management and Communications in the Office of the Secretary-General of the OECD.

He supports the Secretary-General and the Chief of Staff and Sherpa in the advancement of the OECD’s strategic agenda, identifying and developing responses to upcoming policy challenges. He helps oversee the day to day management of the Secretary-General’s private office, providing strategic advice and coordinating communications. Ángel joined the OECD in 2007, working at the Development Centre, and has been in the Office of the Secretary-General since 2010.

Ángel holds an MA in International Security Studies from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and completed postgraduate degrees in International Relations and Political Science in Madrid.  He holds Bachelor Degrees in Social Anthropology and Journalism from University of Sevilla, his hometown.
