László Andor (born 3 June, 1966, in Zalaegerszeg, HUNGARY) a Hungarian economist, holder of a Ph.D in economics, associate professor. Since 10 February, 2010 he has been Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

Academic career

Following his studies in the United States (George Washington University, Washington, D.C) he earned an M.A. in Development Economics at the University of Manchester, UK in 1993 as a British Council Fellow

Earned his M.A in economics from the University of Economic Sciences (today’s Corvinus University of Budapest) in 1989

Graduated from Zrínyi Miklós Gimnázium (secondary grammar school) in Zalaegerszeg in 1984
